Ramiro Figueroa is ready to turn heads again at BKFC 67

Ramiro Figueroa turned heads in his BKFC debut, and he’s eager to do it again in his second trip to the Squared Circle.

Figueroa will battle UFC vet Carl Deaton III in lightweight action at BKFC 67 on Oct. 25 in Figueroa’s hometown of Denver. He’s looking to up his record to 2-0 after his one-sided stoppage victory over Brett Hudson in his BKFC debut in May.

“I believe this fight will be a little more challenging than my debut because this opponent has a lot of experience competing at a high level. I was offered an easier fight, but I wanted the toughest fight that BKFC would give me,” Figueroa says.

“I want to make a statement and move up the rankings. I’m here to fight the best and work my way to the belt.”

The 22-year-old Figueroa predicts a second straight stoppage victory in Denver. He knows he has a lot of ground to cover to make his way in the stacked BKFC lightweight division – but he also knows he’s headed in the right direction.

“In all of my fights, I’m training for the best – I’m training for every fight like it’s for the belt, because that’s where I’m going,” he says.

“I’ll happily fight anybody that moves me up the rankings.”
