Chris Camozzi has had one goal since first signing on the dotted line with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Win a BKFC World Title.
“My goal has always been to hold the belt,” the 19-time UFC veteran says. “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have my sights set on the top. I want to be BKFC World Champion, and I want to have some fun with it.”
Camozzi will get his shot when he meets Sawyer Depee (5-2) for the vacant BKFC World Cruiserweight Championship in the Main Event of BKFC 67 on Oct. 25 at Denver Coliseum in Camozzi’s hometown of Denver, CO.
“This is going to be a tough fight,” Camozzi says when asked about his matchup with Depee.
“He’s got really heavy hands like me, we’re both southpaw. It’s going to be a tough fight, but I don’t think there’s any reason why I won’t beat him.
“Winning the belt will be a perfect stamp on my career,” he adds. “Winning the belt means everything to me.”
