Harrison Aiken is making up for lost time.
Five years removed from his BKFC debut — a loss to Zion Tomlinson Sr., in 2020 — “The Head Hunter” made his triumphant return to the Squared Circle against Idrees Wasi in December. Less than three months later, Aiken is gearing up to meet Donald Sanchez in the Co-Main Event of BKFC Fight Night: Albuquerque, LIVE on The BKFC App on Feb. 28 from the famed Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque, NM.
Aiken is the first to admit that he didn’t make a memorable first impression to fans five years ago, but the Roswell, GA product is at a very different station in life in 2025 than he was in 2020.
“I’m two years sober and, when I got sober, I had to look myself in the mirror and tell myself that if I was going to pursue this sport, I had to do it with my whole heart and put everything into it. I started putting all my effort into training and staying disciplined outside of the ring,” Aiken says.
“It took a lot of hard work to get here, but I’m seeing my hard work come to fruition.”
The older-and-wiser Aiken picked a terrific time to return to the world-famous Squared Circle. BKFC, the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, is a bonafide worldwide sensation, expanding by orders of magnitude on an event-to-event basis.
Aiken is ready to make his absence from the BKFC spotlight a distant memory with a statement win over Sanchez.
“I’m here to win the belt,” he says, “and I know this fight is going to keep me moving in the right direction.”
