Fernando Gonzalez is coming out swinging at BKFC Pechanga

Fernando Gonzalez is ready to start the new year with a big victory at BKFC’s first event of 2025.

On Jan. 18 at the iconic Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA, the Menifee, CA product will hunt for his second straight victory against Erick Lozano in a highly anticipated light-heavyweight matchup that will stream LIVE on The BKFC App.

“Erick is a tough guy. He isn’t easy to put away. I see us banging it out, and what’s going to make the difference in this fight is my speed and my experience,” Gonzalez says. “I’m faster than he is, so I plan on using that and showing my experience advantage in this fight.”

Gonzalez’s 49-bout MMA career includes 13 knockouts and a 7-2 record under the Bellator MMA banner. Now that “The Menifee Maniac” has some bare knuckle fighting experience under his belt, he sees 2025 as his breakout campaign in the BKFC Squared Circle.

“Platinum” Mike Perry — the organization’s reigning “King of Violence” — occupies the top spot on Gonzalez’s BKFC hit list.

“He needs a fight to rebuild himself with, and I think I should be at the top of the list when I get this victory against Erick,” he says.

“I’d love to fight him in March, but I’m willing to beat up anyone they line up for me until there’s no other fight to make.

His prediction for a showdown with Perry?

“Once I land that clean shot, he won’t be able to bounce back from that and I’m going to put him away.”
