Joseph Creer has golden ambitions for 2025

Joseph Creer is all smiles after his victory at BKFC 69.

At the sold-out Gas South Arena in Atlanta in December, the Columbus, GA product earned his third win under the BKFC banner with a unanimous decision over David Simpson in their light-heavyweight matchup. Two judges scored the contest 49-45, while one had it 50-44, all in favor of Creer, who’s now won three of his past four fights entering 2025.

“That was a huge win. It was less of a win for me, and more of a victory for all the great people that train at my gym — I could tell it was a huge win for everyone on my team, and for the community that we’ve built,” Creer says.

“I got what I wanted, which is just the opportunity to get out there and compete. That’s the only reason I’m doing this. It’s not about the money or the notoriety. I just like fighting; I always have and I always will.”

“The Dark Knight” has high hopes for the new year.

“In 2025, I’m fighting for that belt. I’m going to have that belt strapped firmly around my waist,” Creer says with the confidence of a future BKFC World Champion.

“I want to be the Champion and defend the belt to the best of my abilities. I just want the opportunity to showcase my skills against the best of the best in the organization. This is how I challenge myself athletically, and I’m going to do it until God says I can’t do it anymore.”
