“Big” Ben Rothwell is ready to make history.
The undefeated Kenosha, WI product is preparing to dethrone Mick Terrill and become just the sixth World Heavyweight Champion in BKFC history. They lock horns in the Co-Main Event of KnuckleMania V on Jan. 25 under the bright lights at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
The star-studded KnuckleMania V will be the biggest event in bare knuckle fighting history as the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion debuts in its beloved hometown of Philadelphia.
A UFC Championship eluded Rothwell during his 19-bout tenure with the organization, but the battle-tested big man is ready to rise to the occasion at this historic combat sports event.
“This is going to be the last 25 years of my career and life coming to fruition,” Rothwell says. “This is a massive opportunity for me. It’s something that I’ve been thinking about and preparing for for a very long time.”
Rothwell hopes a big win in Philadelphia will help pave the way for BKFC’s Wisconsin debut in 2025.
“What a way to bring BKFC here — with me defending my title for the first time in the Main Event,” he says.
In the meantime, Rothwell has a simple prediction for his showdown with Terrill in Philadelphia.
“A vicious KO,” he says matter of factly.
“I’m going to show my hand speed, I’m going to show my power, and I’m going to show that I’m truly one of the best fighters in the sport, and the best fighter in the BKFC heavyweight division.”
