Brock Walker is ready to roll after successful BKFC debut

Brock Walker was victorious in his BKFC debut, but it didn’t come easily.

The Newport, TN heavyweight had to overcome a seven-pound weight disadvantage, a five-inch reach disadvantage and a series of facial lacerations to stop Chino Blume in the fourth round of their meeting of debuting heavyweights on Saturday at the sold-out Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.

“I’d give it a 10 out of 10,” the heavy-handed Walker says with a smile when asked to rate his debut performance.

Walker’s resume includes over a dozen MMA matches, professional gloved boxing bouts and a professional kickboxing match. That being said, Walker sees BKFC as his place to be.

“I think bare knuckle fighting is the best fit for me,” he says. “I just like to bang, and that’s what BKFC is all about — non-stop action from the opening bell.”

Now that Walker has his first trip to the Squared Circle under his belt, he’s ready to make waves in BKFC’s stacked heavyweight division in 2025.

“I want to have two or three more wins with BKFC in the new year,” he says. “And one year from today, I want to be knocking on the door for a title fight.”
