Cuban-born Miami fighter Yampier Ramirez celebrated his 21st birthday with an impressive first-round stoppage in his bare knuckle debut in front of his hometown crowd in August of 2024. With his smooth, damaging style in the Trigon and a 7-0 pro boxing record in his back pocket, the youngster quickly threw himself into bare knuckle title talk. But for Ramirez, like a lot fighters, the grind (both in and out of the ring) is a constant excersise in dedication and toughness. Ramirez works the graveyard shift from 7 PM to 7 AM each day as a spotter for a repo company before heading to the gym putting in the time to pursue his bare knuckle dreams. In this week’s feature, Uly Diaz pulls a graveyard shift to see what makes Yamier Ramirez a Monster ahead of Ramirez’s December 6 fight at BYB 34 Brawl in the Pines IV in South Florida.
