Josh “Danger” Marer is ready to help BKFC make a smashing first impression in the state of Georgia.
On Dec. 6, the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion will break historic new ground in Marer’s hometown of Atlanta with BKFC 69 under the bright lights at Gas South Arena, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“I think BKFC is going to be really impressed by how many people are ready to support the promotion, and the sport of bare knuckle, in Georgia,” says Marer, who battles Kenny Hill in lightweight action at the event.
“We’ve got a huge fighting community out here and so many people — fighters and fans — have been itching for BKFC.”
Marer, 34, has been a mainstay of the Georgia fight circuit for years and boasts one of the state’s most passionate fan bases. He’s eager to give his hometown fans something to cheer about.
“I see me finishing my opponent in the second or third round,” the three-time BKFC vet says. “I’ve been working a lot on my footwork and head movement; I see my opponent walking into my punches.
“I’m going to get the win.”
