Michael Manno earns essential win in Los Angeles

Michael Manno says his weekend win at BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles was essential.

The Shreveport, LA middleweight evened his BKFC record to 2-2 with a fourth-round, three-knockdown performance at the expense of Vinnie Familari at the sold-out Thunder Studios.

Manno now enters 2025 coming off a win and with an even record. Much better than a three-fight skid and a 1-3 mark.

“That win was about as important for me as the crops having soil in the ground, us having air to breathe, and all kinds of (expletive) like that,” Manno says with a laugh.

“That win was very important to say the least. It’s nice to see that my work isn’t for nothing and I’m back on the right track.”

Manno, 28, is rolling with the punches heading into the new year.

“I just want to keep climbing higher and working my way up the rankings,” he says.

“I’m looking for big fights and big paydays.”
