Anthony “The Warrior of Christ” Garrett broke his own record for fastest knockout in the history of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship heavyweight division with a 12-second KO over UFC vet Lavar “Big” Johnson in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night: Los Angeles on Saturday at the sold-out Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA.

Garrett is now 2-0 with a pair of lightning-fast finishes in his BKFC career after the overpowering Kansas City, KS big man previously set the record for fastest KO in the history of the BKFC heavyweight division with a 16-second KO over John Orr in his BKFC debut at BKFC Fight Night: Kansas City in August.
“Heavyweight division, you’re on notice! Anthony Garrett is in the house — let’s go,” Garrett said in his post-fight interview at the jam-packed Thunder Studios.
Johnson, who hails from Madera, CA, is now 2-1 in his bare knuckle fighting career.
Bovar “The Gladiator” Khanakov was too much for Ruben “Bad Boy” Warr in Saturday’s action-packed Co-Main Event as the Mariupol, Ukraine fighter earned the win via unanimous decision in their lightweight battle. Two judges scored it 50-45 for Khanakov, while one had it 49-46 for Khanavok, who upped his bare knuckle fighting record to 5-3 with Saturday’s win. The Louisville, KY product Warr is now 2-1, 1 NC in his BKFC career.
Chillicothe, OH’s Brandon “Stronghold” Conley smashed his way to 2-0 under the BKFC banner at the expense of fellow unbeaten cruiserweight Keith “The Officer” Richardson in Saturday’s Feature Fight. The ringside doctor put a stop to the back-and-forth fight at the conclusion of the second round due to accumulated damage to Richardson’s eye. The Hollywood, CA product is now 2-1 in the BKFC Squared Circle.
Chase Gormley turned heads in his BKFC debut as the Paramount, CA product recorded a second-round KO over the debuting Tyler “Red Bird” Sijohn in the heavyweight division. The heavy-handed UFC vet recorded four knockdowns before the bout was stopped 54 seconds into the second stanza. Sijohn represents Plummer, ID.
Napa, CA’s Danasabe “Papa Midnight” Mohammed earned his first BKFC victory with a stunning, one-punch KO over Rodney Thomas just nine seconds into the second round of their middleweight matchup. Mohammed, who logged another knockdown in the opening frame, is now 1-2 in the BKFC Squared Circle. Thomas, who hails from Glendora, CA, is now 0-2.
Ryan “Ryu” Petersen of Humboldt, CA was victorious in his BKFC debut, defeating Dan “Maxbet” Godoy via TKO in welterweight action. The ringside doctor stopped the fight at the conclusion of the second round due to accumulated damage to Godoy’s eye. Godoy, who represents Saskatoon, SK, Canada and Hudson, FL, is now 0-2 with BKFC.
Shreveport, LA middleweight Michael “The Port City Soldier” Manno evened his BKFC record to 2-2 with a three-knockdown performance at the expense of Vinnie “The Mexitalian Stallion” Familari. The stoppage came at the conclusion of the fourth round. The San Gabriel Valley, CA product Familari is now 1-1 under the BKFC banner.
In one of the most exciting one-round fights in recent memory, Anaheim, CA’s Mike “Mighty Mouse” Hansen rallied to record a TKO over Dom “The Bomb” Carey after being dropped twice in their flyweight showdown. The fight was stopped with 13 seconds left in the action-packed opening round. Hansen is now 2-0 under the BKFC banner, while Carey, who represents Troy, NY, is now 1-1.
San Luis Obispo, CA’s “Savage” Steven Sainsbury picked himself up off the canvas in the second round to stop Serra, Brazil’s Paulo “Ze Doido” Games via TKO in the third round of their matchup of debuting middleweights. The bout was called to a halt at the 1:26 mark in the third frame.
Huntington Beach, CA’s Cody Vidal sent Kevin “Cash Money” Sims to the canvas five times en route to the second-round TKO in their light-heavyweight bout. Time of the stoppage was 1:48 of the second stanza. Vidal upped his BKFC record to 1-1 with the win; Sims, who hails from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is now 0-1.
