Louie “El Loco” Lopez is locked in.
On Saturday, Lopez earned his fourth BKFC victory with a unanimous decision over Roberto Armas at the sold-out First Interstate Arena in Billings, MT, LIVE globally on DAZN.
“I feel a lot more locked in now,” the former BKFC World Featherweight Championship challenger says. “I didn’t want to rush anything with this fight; I just wanted to be there in the moment, and have the mindset where it’s time to go fight, and it’s time to go win.
“A lot of that comes from experience,” the eight-time BKFC vet adds. “There are still a lot of things I need to work on, but having the right mindset revolves a lot around having that experience.”
Lopez is eager to add even more experience to his BKFC portfolio; he wants to get back in the Squared Circle as quickly as possible.
“I’m ready for whatever BKFC has for me,” he says. “I’d love to fight someone in the Top 5 so I can work my way back to a title shot.”
Lopez fought Kai Stewart for the inaugural BKFC World Featherweight Title last year in the Main Event of BKFC 44. Lopez was on the losing end of a decision that night, but the 33-year-old Missoula, MT product sees a possible rematch with Stewart going very differently.
“I believe I can beat Kai,” he says. “I see myself with the belt in 2025.”
