Dylan “The Villain” Schulte sees the BKFC World Bantamweight Title belt around his waist in 2025.

On Friday in his hometown of Denver, CO, Schulte solidified his status as a bonafide contender in the stacked weight class with a second-round TKO over Derek Perez at the sold-out Denver Coliseum. That’s now back-to-back stoppage victories for Schulte, who upped his BKFC record to 3-1 with Friday’s win.

“I feel good about my performance,” the 28-year-old Schulte says. “I’m excited to get back in the gym, clean some stuff up, and keep working my way to the title.”

Schulte would like to kick off 2025 by sharing the Squared Circle with anyone ranked in the Top 5 of BKFC’s bustling bantamweight division. But there’s nobody he wants to fight more than Alberto Blas, the weight class’ undefeated World Champion.

“I’d fight Blas next if BKFC would let me, but I don’t think they’d let me fight him yet,” he says.

“The other fighters in the division are scared of Alberto – he’s bullying them,” he adds with a laugh. “He’s an athletic, explosive guy, but we haven’t really seen him fight yet. Everyone just backs up and allows him to swarm them until he can finish the fight.

“I’m going to meet him in the middle and throw, and he’s going to be the one who’s backing up and quitting.”
