Christine “Misfit” Ferea defends her BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Title for a record fourth time against Jade “Evil Smile” Masson-Wong in Friday’s BKFC 65 Main Event at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT. We checked in with some of BKFC’s most knowledgeable fighters for their predictions for Friday’s headliner, which streams LIVE globally on The BKFC App.
Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren: I think Jade will be the #AndNew. She’s been dropping fighters left and right. As long as she goes after Ferea and doesn’t give her unnecessary respect, I think she’ll come out on top.
Ruben “Bad Boy” Warr: Christine is the female Tyson of BKFC. I’m a huge fan, and I know she will not disappoint.
Drew “Wild Boy” Stuve: This is a tough one – both women are badass. I’ll be rooting for Jade because she’s from Canada too, but Christine is super tough. This is a tough one to call.
JR “The Lion” Ridge: Ferea and Masson-Wong is going to be a fan-favorite fight for sure. I’d want to see Jade pull it off, but Christine is on a different level in that division. Ferea by decision.
Wanya “The Rated R Superstar” Reid: I’m going with Ferea. She’s a beast in her division and she’s going to stay the champ.
“Royal” Ryan Reber: My pockets are telling me Ferea, my heart is telling me Jade. I’ve gotta roll with Ferea.
Zach “Shark Attack” Calmus: Christine Ferea, the Champion, will never be an easy fight for anyone. She’s reigned supreme against six challengers in a row. I don’t see her losing the belt any time soon. Across the ring stands an intelligent and devoted devastating fighter in Jade Masson-Wong, who I believe will be Christine’s biggest challenge yet. Jade possesses a very high fight IQ and, once inside, explodes with combinations and power, but also sets traps and has big power in both hands that could potentially spell trouble for any opponent.
