“Like A Movie”: Zeb Vincent reflects on his rapid success with BKFC

Zeb “CWB” Vincent is coming off the biggest win of his BKFC career – but he’s not letting his success go to his head.

On Friday, Vincent defeated Doug Coltrane, who was then the No. 2 contender in the stacked BKFC middleweight division, with a fourth-round TKO at the sold-out Memorial Hall in Vincent’s hometown of Kansas City, KS.

“I’m my own toughest critic – I’m really hard on myself,” Vincent says after his big win, which aired LIVE globally on The BKFC App.

“Right after the fight, the first thing that I said to myself was that I got hit too much and my hands were down too much. I was mad because my defense wasn’t as good as it should’ve been.”

Vincent is now 3-1 with three straight stoppage victories in the Squared Circle. He’s quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous 175-pound fighters in the sport.

“It’s like a movie,” he says with a laugh when asked about his success in the Squared Circle.

“It’s crazy to think about when I sit back and reflect on my journey. But, at the same time, I remind myself every day with how hard I’m working, and how much I sacrifice day in and day out.

“It’s definitely a blessing.”

Next in his sights is the BKFC World Middleweight Championship, which is currently held by David “Redneck” Mundell.

“That belt will mean the world to me. Being a BKFC World Champion is a massive, lifelong achievement,” he says.

“Everybody around me knows that I don’t want to just be a star with BKFC – I want to be the star. Every day I’m pushing myself and doing everything I can to achieve that.”
