On Saturday, August 17, BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle made its Wales debut at the Vale Sports Arena for BYB 30 Cardiff Brawl. It was the first European show since BYB’s acquisition of the UK-based BKB this past Spring, and featured a number of local Welsh stars in front of a sold out and energized crowd. The main event featured two of the best bare knuckle fighters fighting for the Police Gazette World Diamond Super Middleweight title as champion Barrie Jones faced LT Nelson.
UFC veteran Jack Marshman makes his bare knuckle debut against Carl Craig. KO king Daniel Lerwell returns to the Trigon against late-replacement David Calveley. Martin Reffell makes his return to the Trigon after a fight of the night performance at BYB 18 when he faces Ryan McCann. Welterweights Joe Fitzpatrick and Jonny Jones slug it out. Gareth Williams and Nathan Massey meet in a Light Heavyweight matchup. Ukraine’s Volodymyr Skurtu takes on Wales’ Dorian Darch.
