Gloves Off: Mark “The Shark” Irwin vs. Joshua “The Preacherman” Oxendine BYB 17 Fight Trailer

Watch the latest fight videos of BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting Series in the US.

As bare knuckle has set itself up to go mainstream, BYB Extreme (along with Dada 5000) prides itself on being the originator of modern-day bare knuckle fighting (as was documented in Billy Corben’s 2015 film Dawg Fight); and since its inception has continued to put out quality, competitive matches while building a roster of high-caliber young athletes dedicated to making a name for themselves first and foremost in the sport of bare knuckle.

Two such bare knuckle stars will be on display May 13 at BYB 17, and their stories and personalities couldn’t be more different. The card’s main event will feature a lightweight championship matchup between self-fashioned California bad boy and former 2x California Golden Glove champion Mark “The Shark” Irwin – trained by former UFC star and TPF Flyweight champion Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall; and Joshua Oxendine, a Golden Gloves champ himself, a Marine veteran who was injured in combat, a Lumbee Tribe member and a preacher pursuing his BA in Christian Ministries at Liberty University.

Despite their differences, they have a common disdain for one another.
