Eduardo Peralta riding high after back-to-back BKFC wins

The red-hot Eduardo Peralta has expertly rebounded from a rocky start in the BKFC Squared Circle.

The Mexican-born Dodge City, KS welterweight is 2-0 with back-to-back, stoppage victories since dropping his first two bouts under the BKFC banner. On Friday he defeated Deron Carlis via second-round KO at BKFC Fight Night Kansas City at the sold-out Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.

“My first two fights were against really tough competition – Howard Davis and Dakota Cochrane – but I realized right away that I could hang with those guys,” Peralta says.

“Since I could hang with them, I knew that I could hang with anybody in BKFC, so I just needed to keep working hard and put myself in a position to win.”

On that front it’s mission accomplished for Peralta – but he says he’s just getting started.

“I’m ready to get back in there already,” he says with a laugh. “I told (BKFC Matchmaker Nate Shook) I’m ready to go again, I want to stay active, and I want to climb the rankings.”

An ideal next opponent, Peralta says, would be Bryce Hall, the social media megastar who was victorious in his BKFC debut against Gee “The Cutman” Perez at BKFC 48.

“I’m going to finish him,” Peralta says when asked for a prediction for a possible showdown with Hall.

“I’ll finish him for sure.”
